I had to put mine in its own html page for it to work for some reason, then I used an Iframe in the article

If I set up a category for recipes are you up for reposting your existing entries as articles? I know you've put a lot of work into them already, but if I do the articles it will list them in my name.

Thank you, thank you! I knew there was something I had wanted to talk to Bloc about for a long time and that was it. It has always bugged me to no end that category blocks do not show the original author. They only show the site owner and the article creator.

On my site RebelRose and Lord Anubis had created a few articles and I had always wanted their names on their articles. Les had shown me a work around. It was to create an html block and manually create the links. I wasn't too fond of this but it worked.

I've meant to post that in the requested features topic for almost a year now. LOL

BTW... you deserve a big thank you for what you've already posted, those are some great recipes that you've shared with the family.  :bigthumb:

You're welcome. Lot's more are coming. ;)

You are welcome.  :disted:

Thats one thing that would be a great help for an administrator, the ability to easily change 'ownership' for things like TP articles would make it so much simpler. I don't know what kind coding issues it would cause for Bloc but I know that it can be done because in the SMF Gallery Pro that option exists... the admin only needs to pull up the edit screen for an image and the ownership can be changed there. (the newly assigned owner can then do edits to that image) Works great.  :bigthumb:

Hopefully Bloc can add this option to an upcoming release.

This one has some possibilities.  :disted:

For the login part it... maybe could be placed in an article that was only visible to members?
Just wondering about the security part of having it be open to anyone.

Ps: I'm still not getting the converter to work.  :cry2:

Ps: I'm still not getting the converter to work.  :cry2:

That is strange, I seen to remember I had some probs with it too, but for the life of me I cant remember what it was!!

Try this in an article....

Got it working using your code and link, I'm just doing something wrong or leaving out a step in my install.

Got it!  :yahoo:

While you were doing that code I had realized what I was doing wrong; it needed to be saved to the site as a webpage and then pull that page into the article.

Yes, I'm slow!  :thud:
Thanks for the help on that one Les.

EDIT: And yes... I saw where you had already told me to do the webpage thingie.  :08:

Found another recipe program I thought I would try out for you'll to see this one doesn't come with any recipes in, but got a few in it feel free to grab some, any ways here it is.

Just one note this is a cgi program/script not php, and was a little harder to install, it doesn't have sgl data base but a flat file database  :boring: the script is here

This one looks good Les.

Just been reading the read me file and it dose seem a little more difficult to install... did you have any big issues on yours?

And what about the admin part after it's up and running, it sounds like you must do edits on the actual files, is there no 'admin panel'?
