Because of all the games save issues we've been having in the Arcade I thought that it might be useful to give the SimpleDesk 'ticket based' system a trial run here on Our FamilyForum.

What they say it will do for us:

You can check it out by clicking on the HELPDESK button/link at the top of each page. Feel free to 'post new ticket' or comment on any existing tickets. If you do post a new ticket it can be a just for fun trial, or if you've had a problem with any part of the FamilyForum that's a good place to post the details. (Like all of the game save errors lately)

When you click on the 'post new ticket' link it will give you an editor simular to the topic post editor with some added details to help you setup your ticket, like Urgency levels and a setting where you can have your ticket be 'Private'. If you set your ticket to Private then only you and an admin will be able to see it.

BTW... wouldn't you know it, me had to do a bunch of manual edits to some of the files before this thing would work.  :yikes:

The index.php and index.template.php file edits would not take when the package install routine was run.  :thud:

This help desk feature seems to work well... just gotta learn to properly use it.  :bigthumb:
