GrandMa Kay is saying, "I want a garden this year so we can have all those healthy home grown veggies."
So G-Pa is saying, "Yeah... Well then it must be time for me to hook up the Veg-A-Matic to my BadBoy John Deere and plow that row!!!"

One of our neighbors used his big tractor to make the first cut in the garden for us because it had a full blown lawn growing in it as it had not been worked in 4-5 years. We think that this years crops will be OK but that it will likely be next year before it really begins to be good... got to get all the fertilizers and that kind of stuff worked in ya know.
Oh... and as you will see in the photos, Jake and Minnie helped.  :bigtmb:

Looking good! When did you get the roto-tiller? I thought you where not allowed to have any more toys. Or is tat just when i'm with you? Can't wait till my next visit for some fresh veggies!!  :yahoo:

Planting corn, peppers & tomatoes today!  :bigtmb:

G-Ma Kay & I worked on corn, peppers and tomatoes today, planting about three different varieties of the corn  in several rows and the same with the tomatoes & peppers but with only one row for both of them.
Tomorrow it's goina be green beans!  :duh:

How's your garden growing???

The corn has started coming up!
It only took a few days for it to start, but we are still waiting on the beans and celery to pop out of the ground.  :disted:
