They Cut An X Into A Red Onion Then Threw It In The Oven For 25 Minutes. When He Pulls It Out? WOW!

Quote
To get started, you’ll just need four red onions, a cutting board, and a sharp knife. Slice off the root at the bottom of the onion so it stands straight up.

Now cut in the onion in half almost down to the root. Then cut the onion in half again going in the opposite direction so you are left with four segments. Now cut each of those four segments in half again so you are left with a red onion sliced into 8 segments with it all joined together at the bottom of the onion. Repeat the slices with all four red onions.

Now place all four onions in a bowl. Pour on 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. Mix the onions in the oil and vinegar until are four are equally covered.

Place the onions in a 9’ x 13’ greased baking dish. Put enough space between the onions and pour on the rest of the oil and vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover with aluminum foil and bake a 425°F for 25-30 minutes. Take the foil off and put in the oven for another 10 minutes.

These onion flowers make a delicious snack.
