Thoracentesis
« on: May 22, 2024, 05:29:07 AM »
Today I'm going into our local hospital (NHFMC Radiology Department) to have fluid drainned from around and in my lungs and that will hopefully improve my breathing and may have been the cause of the extreme pain that I have been having on my left side.

Thoracentesis is usually a short, low-risk procedure, but it can still be a concern with me because of my many other medical issues.
Any and all Prayers and Best Wishes will be most appreciated!  :happy1:

Everything went well, there was a small amount of pain as the needle went in, but it was not enough to make me 'Yelp'. 😱
Almost one liter of fluid was drawn, and it was amber and looked to be clear. The results posted so far appear to look OK, but the testing for cancer cells will take some time.
Overall, it was not that difficult.
Thanks for all the Prayers. 🙏
