Corporate over-reach has always been an issue, thus the need for an antitrust law.
Hopefully they don't screw up everything as they try to sort it all out.

Or allow them to pay them off...

Or allow them to pay them off...

There's always that very real possibility.  :censored:

Not sure what the end game is there?

Google is into a lot more than just search engine now. Are they going to stop at search engine or go after more?

No, they are more into data brokering...I.E., stealing your data. That's how they make their real money and why privacy is so important.

If you check the news for other countries you'll that they have been sued and sometimes censored.

I would be more worried about data. .......Not that I have much to steal ;D

You can use other search engines. I've been using Duck Duck Go for some time now.

Yes, and you must remember that they created Android(used by billions which has your phone number, etc. on it), Google Analytics, and a lot more!

I've been Reddit's subs lately. Mostly, their r/privacy, r/browsers, r/degoogle (using Google alternatives and also how to completely remove google from devices, etc.), r/PrivacyGuides, etc. They are great for privacy tips.

I can still remember listening to an interview on one of the late-night talk shows back in the 1990s where they had an internet 'security guru' on, and he was trying to warn us about our mad rush into "Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984 film)" because of all the personal information that we were pounding into the Internet and the companies that were already trying to find ways to monetize our information.

Well, thanks to all of us, 1984 as been here for a while now, and I don't think there is any way that the Jin can be coached back into his bottle.

Amen, brother! The funny thing is that there's a sub on Reddit and they are talking about how we should pay them to stop doing it. LMAO I'm 'Old_Mellow':

I actually like Reddit. At least, it's a lot better than other social media. If you say something wrong or don't follow their rules your post will be deleted!
