The French Cook: Sauces
« on: September 20, 2024, 06:44:55 PM »
This looked like a good book about French sauces, which I love! And I was right! It's a short book but very detailed on how to make the sauces as well as how to serve them.

And I just saw this one by her that I'll probably get, too:

The French Cook: Soups & Stews: Soups and Stews

Both books are short. However, the 1st one has some very good recipes! But, it is lacking a lot of images of the food.

I'm ost done with the 2nd and it also has some great recipes and a bit more images, although, they are shown after the recipe. LOL Both are still great books on French cooking. And be warned! They are not the quick and easy recipes. Most take hours of simmering and that's how I like it! :)
