Do you have more than one PC and would you like to list them all under just one name and have your own 'Sub-Team' on the FamilyForum WCG Team?
Here's how to do it:1/ Go to the computer where you want the new install to occur.
2/ Next, go to the
WCG website and login with your existing username/password and then go to the download page and d/l a fresh copy of the WCG Agent to that new PC.
3/ Go through the install process like normal.
***That's it! You are finished.
You now have both computers under one name and that's how they will show up on the FamilyForum WCG Team stats. There is no limit that I'm aware of so you can use this same method to sign up all of your friends and relatives onto your sub-team if you wish to do so.
But... there is one caution; if you let someone do the actual install to their computer that means that they will need your username/password for the WCG site so that they can do the d/l and install process, so what I've always done is this:
Set a password for myself that only I know and always keep that in place except for a very brief time that is setup with the other person when they have access using a second password that is only in place long enough for them to complete the install... and then I change it back to my regular password.
Note: This new install will be named using the new PC's name.
