@UnderDog... Lets move this discussion to a topic, I tend to lose track in the ShoutBox.  :innocent:

Don't know why that is, let me check the permissions, meanwhile just to be sure we are looking at the same pages:

The example below is an MP3 that was uploaded into the Aeva Media gallery and then posted to the topic in the link. It all works together very well.
The code for the post player looks like this:
Code: [Select]

[smg id=11 type=av]

In this audio clip Mallie tells about the little pigs that she, Joe and Martha had and how they held a service for Joe's pig after it had died.

Ahh I saw those mp3 clips... Neat.

I see now... you want vbgamer to include the mp3 player just like the style in the aeva media so that you only need 1 mod?

I thought you wanted the mp3 files to play during a slideshow in the gallery.
That's why I mentioned the premiumbeat mod since it will do that for you.

Oh well.

It works like this: http://askusaquestion.net/index.php?action=media;sa=album;in=1

... only you have more control with your gallery then I do because it uses 'slideshow' in the url when that option is chosen.
The regular aeva photo gallery (that I currently use) doesn't use that in the url when showing a slideshow.
So I set the mp3 block to function when the media page is loaded.

The original reason for my interest in this new 'Simple Audio Video Embedder' (he has changed the name) was because of all of the turmoil surrounding the Aeva Media embedder/gallery and what was going to happen to it going forward. The author, (Nao 尚) has been having some really serious conflicts with the SMF team and the future for the Aeva Media mod seems to be a little shaky, or maybe not.
In any case, the whole conflict has spilled over into this new mod now, so who knows how it will all work out.  :undecided2:

I heard that he might give up on it awhile back and is why I uninstalled it. I'll have to look over the available mods for vids and photos again.

The soap opera continues with Nao 尚 and the SMF senior staff... they have now placed a ban on him.  :undecided2:

He can certainly be a pain in the behind and he doesn't know how to be tactful in any way so he brings a lot of these problems on himself, still from what I can see they have treated him poorly. He is by most accounts (including many of his critics) one of the greatest code writers ever to work on SMF and related mods, but he has made lots of folks mad at him because of the way he behaves and talks to other team members.

Very true. He is a bit arrogant but a really good coder.

I don't think I've even logged into SMF for about a month or so. :P
