Site Downtime
« on: March 13, 2011, 04:31:14 PM »
For the past couple of days we've had issues with our hosting server causing Our FamilyForum to be offline for most of that time. The issue was with the system's customer billing I think, because even though the account is setup for auto-pay and so is always up to date the account was suspended... so, that's why it kept sending the site to a domain name 'parking' page.  :yikes:

Hopefully it's fixed now.

The site continues to be in a kind of sometimes on and sometimes off mode.  :thud:

Maybe it has to propagate the domain name again.

Yes, I think that's what's happening Steve.

It should never have been an issue because as mentioned before, we have the accounts set to auto-pay... and they are and were in fact paid, but with all the server issues Frank has had in the past few weeks I guess things with our accounts just got bonked along the way.

I was going to call you and see if you needed space or something.

Thanks for the offer Steve.
Although we had a few little problems before (little in my mind at least) this is the first 'major' issue that we've had and it seems that we may finally be getting past the troubles, so let's wait a bit to see how it all works out.
