Vinaigrettes are known for being used on salads. But they are much more than that! It is basically a sauce and can be used as a marinade! For instance, your basic store bought Italian dressing is a vinaigrette. You can pour it over a salad or use it for marinating meats, fish, or veggies. You can also use it for a great pan sauce reduction, glaze, or just an enhancement to flavor an otherwise boring dish.

The best thing about them is you can customize them to your liking!
