Magazine Archives
« on: January 13, 2017, 07:04:22 PM »
Last year around this time, I bought the complete DVD set (one DVD) of Fine Cooking Magazine 2015 Archive. It contained all of their mags from 1994 thru 2015. It is highly searchable by recipe, ingredient, etc. and is printer friendly. I bought it so I can get rid of some of the mountain of various cooking magazines I've accumulated over the years! LOL You can get it here:

https://www.tauntonstore.com/cooking?taunton_format=216

Today, I've decided to buy the Cuisine At Home flash drive archive...yes, I have almost every one of those issues , too.  shocked003 You can get it here:

http://www.cuisineathomestore.com/back-issues/?utm_source=CuisineRecipes

I'll only want to keep the premier issues (first issue) of each and get rid of the rest. Now if only Cook's Illustrated and Cook's Country had archives on DVD or flash dive...

EDIT: Plus, I order a 2 year subscription to the mag for only $39 which was a pretty good deal. It's $29 per year normally.

I've long wanted to do this with some of my woodworking and wood turning titles but have always resisted because of the cost of those works... yes, I cheap like that.

Yeah, me too for certain things. But I could use the extra space for more mags/books later or something else. Yeah, I have that many of them. LOL

I got the Cuisine at Home flash drive yesterday and spent most of the day going over old recipes. This is SO much better than searching for magazines that are all over the house then having to search through them to find a particular recipe. LOL
