I haven't had prime rib in years!
I would love to have some prime rib, but it costs to damn much money! This ad from my local Lowes food store for an eight pound roast shows just how expensive meat can be.

We aren't eating a lot of beef either. Quality doesn't seem that great and cost is sky high. :P

Yes, beef has skyrocketed a lot lately! The only steak I usually eat is ribeye and around here it's now about $15/pound+. I've seen some places selling it for about $17-18!

Kay and I were just in our local Walmart and I checked out the prime rib prices just out of curiosity and as expected the prices were over the top!
At $11.97lb that meant that the cheapest roast was $56.86!  shocked003

Maybe you should just ask for one rib and share it with Kay. LOL

I think I pay too much for D'Atrangian Duck Breast @ $20+/pound or dry scallops for about that same price. Those two are most guilty and expensive pleasures!  :eat:
