Marinated Cucumber, Onion, and Tomato Salad

I like this but I'd use red onions and would probably marinate them a day ahead and maybe use red wine or apple cider vinegar instead. I love marinated red onions. LOL And maybe marinate the cukes as well with the onions. Then add the tomatoes or they would get mushy.

Kay makes this style of salad often and usually makes it at least a couple of hours ahead to give it some marinade time. She often uses different types of vinegar and sometimes substitutes other ingredients for the vinegar, like Italian dressing.
