Broken User Info/login for Phoenix theme.
« on: June 06, 2010, 08:33:16 AM »
It should look like this Ken, when logged out..

I altered the index.css a bit too. look for user.png and set the width too 325px

What changes do I need to make to fix it Les?

I think there maybe a mod conflict somewhere ken or a block that is doing it, I just know it works on my site lesmonds place.

Its just when I checked to see it it was working I noticed that the background wasn't wide enough, so I looked in css and found it was set too 316px thats when I changed the width, but thats all I done really.

So I really dont know how to fix it sorry!

edit: I could download my theme from lesmonds and zip it up for you to try, unless you have made to many code changes to this theme?

Not a lot of changes have been made and none of the changes were to the files, except for the bg stuff and that's easily fixed.
Your version of the theme could be installed with a slight name change, that way both versions could be in place in case there's any problems.  :bigthumb:

Just tried the 325px change to the index.css file and it didn't seem to make any difference.

Oh and my version has a new background drop-down link in theme options

OK, the attachments are back on... I had turned them off because of trying to encourage the use of TinyPic for images.  :bigteeth:

EDIT: Actually the attachments could stay on and just remove the image extensions and that would accomplish the desired result.

Umm... the user area is still doing the same thing with this version.

NM... I was looking at the wrong version!  :yikes:
But this one may have issues as well... the bg looks broken on the right side. (in IE8)

Les, did you hard code the width in this one? I'm not able to change it in the current theme cp.

I think I may know what is wrong, the user login is turned off in the default theme, I haven't checked though!

Hope you dont mind Ken, I un-installed Phoenix and re-installed it with the correct one, the user background is showing, but not the login bit, so I still think its to do with the default theme some how
