Early rock & roll, Jazz, R&B, Blues... the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Elvis Costello, Prince, Louie Armstrong, George Jones, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, most any Motown, Pink Floyd... oh, and, bso.org! 

To be serious for a moment... actually, the above list is only a part of what and who I like. Some of the more 'modern' stuff like hard rock is not to my taste, but even there I sometimes find a gem that's worth a listen.
