The uninstall was uneventful and clean. I didn't check for leftover code though.

Good job!

Still getting errors for some of the broken articles... I should have fixed those a long time ago, so finally, I've gone through all of our TP articles and any that were empty/broken have been set to 'Article is NOT active' so hopefully some of those errors will go away.

I have a lot of work to do on my forum but have been busy setting up and getting the VPS straightened out. So far, it's working great.

That's good to hear.
I know that You've put in a lot of work and time with your VPS, so it's good to know that it's looking good. It's always make you feel better when progress can be seen.  :)

Yes, true. Lately I've been getting reacquainted with the shell. I can run a lot of commands from it and get things done much faster. I honestly can't think of much more to do to it except add a few plugins to make things a lot easier to do. But for some of them, cPanel does not support although their forum has a lot of knowledgeable users who are very willing to help. You can even use their forum if you have a shared account for questions.

EDIT: I think I just found something that will help stop spam dead in its tracks. I'll give it a run and see how it goes. :)

It's not bridged yet, me is struggling with the relative path.  laughing7

Got it!

Kept thrashing around with it and making no progress, so I moved the cpg folder from "https://www.ourfamilyforum.org/FamilyForum/Coppermine/index.php" to "https://www.ourfamilyforum.org/Coppermine/index.php" and then set the relative path to "../FamilyForum/" and that worked.  8)

Now for testing and setup... please give it a go to make sure you can see it with your OFF login.

Glad you sussed it out Ken.  Looks like the bridge is working for me.  8)

You'll need to add the plugin for the bbcodes assuming you want them.  http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,57432.0.html

Actually Ken, I was going to ask you to look at the gallery I use on GG and TGMF it's a pretty lightweight script and integrates well with your existing forum.  No menu links to add and has the bbcodes you wanted.  It's pretty powerful.  I was a bit late as you already installed Coppermine.  Still worth a look though.

Only downside is Pete stopped work on it a while back, but he built it pretty well,  Check it out here, https://guitaristguild.com/index.php and https://thegardenmachineryforum.co.uk/index.php

You'll see a media link in the menu, that's what it adds when you install it.  It was a paid mod, in fact I did buy it, but now he's giving it away FOC. ;)
