See...I waiting about 5-10 minutes while viewing another site and switched back. I'm thinking it may be a caching issue?

Edit: Also, attachments are not working again.

Fixed your attachment.
I guess the inline attachments thingie will need to be uninstalled because it takes more effort than it's worth to make it work.  :-[

For the shoutbox... I wonder if it's just this site, or an actual bug?

Not sure...could also be a browser caching issue since no one else has noticed it. I will try it in a different browser other than FF.

It does the same in Edge too. I have not tried any other browsers.

Same in IE11 Does it work now?  Ken, hope you don't mind. I've turned off the setting "Load jQuery File" on the snowflakes mod. And it works for me again

"If the main jQuery library is already loaded from another script, it may be necessary to disable this option."

Yep, seems quite a few mods are trying to run dupe copies of the same script at the same time, instead of sharing it like it is now.  A bit like the  YandexGarland problem you had earlier, though that doesn't have the option to stop it loading, hence why you had to comment it out.  The snowflakes mod kindly offers that option in the settings. ;)

Here's a thought:
Should we be laying the blame on SMF for this? Like, maybe they should have some kind of rule structure that mods have to follow that keeps folks from writing to the same files or functions that have already been used?

Is the 'hook' system making this issue a little better?

Gonna wait until later today to uninstall the inline attachments mod... it throws an error on the uninstall routine.

I think it's because jquery isn't part of SMF 2.0.xx by default the mod authors include it to make their mods work.  Obviously there'll be conflicts if two mods try to do the same.  All future versions of SMF will include this by default, or at least SMF 2.1 does, so mods won't need to. ;)

Those whom are having these issues, may want to check with the Default them> ? and see if it acts the same  may even a script issue or conflict, I find at times, things work funny  with some themes.

So far I have no issue with the Shout, but will dig deeper! :)

Some scripts even effect thew bbc on some themes! Conflict in the naming of the scripts!

Maxx

Agreed.  I always switch to the SMF default theme while checking issues like this. :)

You would have done a while ago Maxx.  We seem to have fixed it.  Or should I say, found a workaround for the issue.
