I'm not sure what you did but sometimes when you try to view the forum as a guest you get a blank page. I assume it's due to the gallery URL???

Also, I found this while looking at the gallery...see attachment.

OK, fixed the guest access... darn those pesky permissions settings.  :-[

I just looked at the logs and the errors have links for the gallery but files given suggest TP. There's a conflict somewhere. You do have two galleries installed which may be the problem...

I hope that's not the case because both both galleries have very good qualities and I would not like to have to uninstall the Media gallery.

Well, the problem didn't exist before you installed CPG. So, that's what I'm guessing although it could be something else since it is a conflict. Conflicts do not always show the true problem mod and take some work to nail down.

We actually have three galleries now... SMF Gallery Pro, Media Gallery and CPG, with the first two being installed through the SMF Package Manager... CPG is in it's own d/b.
I'm trying to sort out the code for the link to CPG just now... the button is in the top nav bar, but so far I'm not getting the link code right.  :-[

... my latest attempt:
Code: [Select]
'menu_action' => array(
'title' => 'Coppermine',
'href' => $scripturl . 'https://www.ourfamilyforum.org/Coppermine/',
'show' => true,
'sub_buttons' => array(
'sub_menu_action' => array(
'title' => 'text for sub-menu',
'href' => $scripturl . '?action=newaction',
'show' => true,
'is_last'=> true,
),
),
),

Fixed it!  :tick:

Removed the '$scripturl'
Code: [Select]
'menu_action' => array(
'title' => 'Coppermine',
'href' => 'https://www.ourfamilyforum.org/Coppermine/',
'show' => true,
'sub_buttons' => array(

'href' => $scripturl . '?action=newaction',
'show' => true,
'is_last'=> true,
),
),

Ok, I can't keep up with all of the galleries. LOL

I've tried to recreate the error but it seems fixed now. :)

I'm trying to sort things in the galleries, but it's slow going because I'm having to learn stuff all over again.  8)

EDIT: The reason for all the thrashing in three different galleries is because I'm tired of having to jump through all the hoops when trying to include a pic in a post.

I hear ya. I haven't messed with galleries in awhile (especially CPG) since mine still works.

I like the Media gallery because it makes including images to a post easier, and the SMF gallery because it has a much more robust 'Category' and 'Album' system. And, I've always loved CPG, but it installs outside of SMF and that's why I've used SMF Gallery Pro for the most part, but I did have it (CPG) installed for several years.
