Steve had a good idea in the [R.I.P] topic for JPDeni as seen in his quote below.

I'm thinking that we need to hash out the details on the best way to set it up and then go ahead and do it.  :bigthumb:

Suggestions on how it should be made and named???

EDIT: @Steve... what error do you see Steve?
Sounds like a good idea. :)

They might be trying to find out more about what she did on the net and maybe who her friends were.

What's the error for???

An idea just came to me. Maybe create a special member group for those who have passed on. If someone reads a post they've made they can see that the person has passed on. Maybe a "R.I.P" named member group or something similar?

I'll be this will catch on with other forums.  :bigteeth:

Check it now Steve... just reset the permissions on that gallery album, they may have been wrong before.

That was my thought as well... that Aeva Media gallery is strange. Guess I need to start using the regular gallery (SMF Gallery Pro) to post all of my images.

Maybe it's OK now if you can see the image.

I've made the new member group and placed Carol in it... take a look to see what you think.

Maybe we should see if Les wants to do a nice member badge???

Great idea!

EDIT: I added a group description to it.

"For our fallen members. May they rest in peace."

We probably should add them and something about them in it.

Strangely enough, I was surfing another forum and they started something similar. LOL

Good point Steve... I am a member on some of Deni's sites, so I'll give a look at adding some of her links and bio info.
On her 'main' website (http://www.morethanspike.com/) it sounds as though the membership plan to keep things going in her honor and to me that's really nice.  :bigthumb:

While looking at Carol's profile it occurs to me that there is not anywhere to add very much info. Currently we don't any kind of profile mod installed, maybe we should go ahead and select one???

Here's a couple of them:

Ultimate Profile
I've used this one before on the FF and it works nicely, but has not been updated since Nov. 2010, so it would need to be installed under an emulate of RC4.

Member Notepad
... this one is just a simple notepad, not what we need I think.

From looking at several pages of mods the Ultimate Profile seems to be the only one that fits our needs.

I've never used it but smf has customized profile fields that you can create. We can create one ourselves. I just looked and it even has the option to add on registration. I never bothered to look at this before cause I never needed it.
