The hazards of walking on air.
« on: February 19, 2012, 05:04:42 AM »
Sooo, while doing some work on an upper cabinet out in the garage (like an upper cabinet in your kitchen) I made a little misstep and tried to walk where there was no support and that attempt at walking on air didn't work out very well!
As I fell backwards my fall pitched me over onto  my back and then I landed on the edge of a counter-top, striking that edge with the small of my back.

The injury happened  about three days ago and my first thought was to not post any pictures but finally I decided, "what the heck", so here are a couple of pics.

WARNING:
The pics have been placed in the Spoiler tag because the injury is gross and disgusting to look at... plus the fact that a goodly portion of my butt crack in showing.  :yikes:

Wow! That's some bruise! It looks like you'd be in the hospital.

Aside from the bruising it didn't seem to do any damage.  :crossed:
Nothing popped or cracked when I landed and the discomfort since has been minimal.
