There are probably mods that are conflicting with it.

EDIT: Ah...it's this theme... Maybe switch to default and try it to see which theme that you have will work.

Tried that from the start but no joy... I always change to the SMF default theme when doing any work on the forum.
It has been reported that this version of SMF has some conflicts/issues with the current version of TinyPortal, so TP may need to be uninstalled as part of the upgrade process.

Strange cause it worked for me but not for you and some others. I've tried it on another forum but they had mod issues. I'm thinking there's more to it than TP...or perhaps only when a certain feature of TP is used?

Others have reported that if you uninstall TP, update SMF then reinstall TP it works. This should also show you if any mods are causing problems.

Ken,

I didn't realize you had this up and running again until I saw your post on FB.  Anyway, if you used the installer for TP 1.1, this version does require that you uninstall and remove all prior versions of TP first.

Hi Jim, good to see you.
Did the uninstall/reinstall thing and I'm making some slow progress, but my skills have suffered somewhat during this past year off.  :hah!:

The current issue is the SMF Gallery and TP being in conflict... Brad is helping trying to sort the code to fix the issue.

Ah, I see.  I'm surprised you haven't looked into Coppermine Ken.  Mick (Lurkalot) knows a lot about that.  I wasn't even aware that SMF Gallery was still being updated.

Some years back I did use Coppermine, but stopped because I wasn't very good at working with it and because the staff at that time was so difficult to deal with.
I've heard that it's much better now.

Thanks for reminding me about CPG Jim... I went ahead and installed it HERE.

The bridge manager is still giving me a headache! The first try resulted in a broken gallery, so a fresh copy was loaded and I'm reading up in the documentation on how to bridge CPG with SMF. Hopefully it works better on the next try.  :huh1:

I might be able to help with that. I've used it a few times myself and need to reinstall it for my daughter's forum.

Is it possible to install links back to the forum in the cpg pages?
