[Fixed]TinyPic... needs manual install
« on: February 21, 2014, 08:48:09 AM »

Although the TinyPic upload Mod shows as being installed it is not showing up in the post form window. (... it did show up when it was first installed)

May need to do a manual install.

With the way your server is set up and the fact the mod is outdated (2.0 RC1-1...way before 2.0 Final)...I doubt if it will actually work at all or not without issues or additional code modifications.

I rarely install outdated mods unless they are only one or two versions behind the current one. Too many issues arise from it, especially if when SMF updates again. Sadly, a lot of SMF mods are no longer maintained. Been looking at other forums/CMS's lately...

Well, when you install a mod it needs to be fixed before installing others. There are a lot of errors in the logs suggesting some of the mods are not properly installed or may be conflicting with other mods.

Les' mods installed are different than yours except for TP and Users Online Today...but he has a lot of errors too.

Yes we have lots of errors for sure, I cleared the error log yesterday afternoon and we already have 479 errors this morning.
Most are for the '/home/ourfamil/public_html/FamilyForum/Sources/FelBlogTPinc.php' file that no longer exists and for '/home/ourfamil/public_html/Sources/TPassimilate.php' error.

I will assume that some of the code is still left over from the previous install of felblog...IF you are using some of the same smf files.

Yes and no?
If my assessment is correct, there should be no felblog code to be found in our current SMF files that are in use on the site, but there are (should be) PmxBlog files.
I will need to do a manual install to see what code is not right or missing in the files and search to see if any felblog references are there that need to be removed.

Drat!!!  :censored:
Now two of the TinyPic icons are showing in the post form.... clicking on either of them will give you the desired result, but it's confusing to have two of them. Gotta do the manual install routine again to find the double code entries.
