Topic: Preview Showing "null"

On this site, if you type something in a post and click preview you will see "null" at the last thing you type. However, it does not show when it is actually posted.

Not doing it for me. It was yesterday, but seems ok now, did you fix it Ken?

It started doing it on my site too...could it possibly be the last SMF upgrade?

Yes, I noticed it too. Not exactly sure what it is but it wasn't doing it on my sites before. Could also be browser related?

Yes, it does it with FF but not Chrome. I'm using Chrome atm and it does not show. FF did have a recent upgrade...

Probably something to do with those darn bats that were flying around, they seem to have gone and the null thing with them.

That's strange, I was getting the null showing in IE11 yesterday, but it's gone today.

Yes, it was the snowflakes mod. I just tested it but with FF and Chrome and not IE...I only have Edge. I''l report it...

What do you mean you only have edge? Did you get rid of IE11?

I was a bit (ok, extremely) hesitant to start guessing at the 1000's of mods here. Could have taken quite awhile to figure it is especially since Ken was having trouble with a few of them.

Microsoft Edge...comes with Win 10. It doesn't use IE anymore...well, probably the same thing but they renamed it to get away from the bad publicity of IE.

No, IE11 is still in windows 10.  Start > All apps > Windows Accessories > Internet explorer. 

I'm running windows 10 and internet explorer.

Ah! I didn't realize that. I never even looked there. Just figured there was nothing there I used much before anyways. LOL

Some stuff won't work properly with Edge, so I set IE11 as my default browser.  I also use the old windows 7 image browser, because the one in 10 is utter $h1te.
