I just read this while searching around for a recipe. You can clarify (clean) used cooking oil using gelatin! Very interesting technique but can save you money.

Not sure... haven't tried it and the article does not mention this. Personally, I never use the same frying oil to cook fish and meats in unless I intend to throw it out for that reason. Then again, I've never tested that theory mixing the two...it might not make a diff although I've heard differently long ago. This may or may not be true...
