Orange-Cumin Marinade

Actually, it called Cumin-Orange-Honey Marinade in the latest issue of Fine Cooking Magazine (Aug/Sept 2017). They have an article for bold marinades for grilling or broiling. This particular marinade is for chicken but is also good on pork tenderloin, shrimp, asparagus.

Me, being so different I thought the first marinade would go better with the Korean-style ribs. And that is exactly what I did! Boy...were they great!!!  shocked003 This will be one of my new "go-to" recipes. Unfortunately, that cut of beef is not an everyday affair. They are not usually in stock in the local stores and tend to be a tad expensive. But they are very tender and tasty!

They only take about 5 minutes or so on the grill or under the broiler as they are thin. They do have a lot of marbling like ribeye steaks do but are also very tasty!  :eat:

Unfortunately, they are hardly in the stores. When they are in stock they are not the meaty ones nor the Korean style flanken ribs. :P

I may be able to get them at the local farmer's market but they are only open Wed-Sat from 8am-2pm.
