Veggie Lover's Mini Quiche
« on: September 10, 2023, 10:08:52 PM »
Well, tbh... I didn't make this exact recipe. But, it inspired me to make my own.  :D

I added ground sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, and herbs. To the eggs I added a bit of milk, as I always do when making scrambled eggs. ;) I didn't add the veggies nor the cheese spread. And they turned out great! Except the bottoms were a bit soggy...not completely baked. So,after a bit of thinking, I remembered that butter is a great browning agent. So, I decided to heat some butter over med-high heat then add the muffins to the pans for a few ms until they browned! Success!!!!!!!!!!!

I've also bought some diced ham and some bacon to mix thing up next time. Will also add some diced peppers on occasion and change up the cheeses. This time I used a store bought shredded Mexican blend...next time it;ll be something different until I find what I really like.  :D

They have lot of other recipes there that you may like. ;)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you could change the muffins sizes. ') You'd also have to adjust the baking times accordingly. ;)

Those sound really good, both your way and theirs.
