I may or may not be online in the next few days. We have been getting a lot of work done in the dining room...where my PC is.  > Also, the basement and a small part of the bathroom. However, it needs to be done. There's a lot of plastering, etc. then they will paint the room.

So, that means everything needs to be moved temporarily to other areas of the house and then back again.  Who knows when it will all be done...

Of course, she never tells me anything until it is JUST starting to happen!  > > >

I hear ya. Have a bunch of projects around the house to do.

We brought home new windows for the whole place yesterday. Also painting a bedroom and installing carpet. Doing some shopping today for painting supplies.

We're doing all the work ourselves so it may take a while. Goal is to be done with everything by fall.

Well, I lucked up and he didn't show up today. And, she bought and put down a big roll of plastic to help cover the floors and other things. I was shocked! I think she did it because she didn't want to clean a lot. LOL She hates cleaning anything!

So, I'm free and clean this weekend! But next week...who knows? LOL

Well, what do you know? He showed up today because he wasn't here yesterday!  >

At least, he didn't sand anything yet. He said he's going to start that on Monday but may not be here on Tuesday.

I used to do it but she'll just screw it up again and expect me to keep fixing it. 

That's why I no longer do it. Besides, it's her house not mine. My name is not on the deed!  I tried telling her things long ago but she would refuse. Now she's crying because everything is going to hell and she has to pay for it. It would've saved her a lot of money if she did these things long ago.
