I've noticed things like this over the years that have frustrated me to no end! Now, there may be a bit of relief.

This sounds like a really good tool to have, maybe even the paid version. Of course it sucks that the free version will only find the leftovers if the app is currently installed. But when he said(12.10) that all you need do is reinstall the app and then the tool will give you the desired result, that solved that issue.
